Volunteer Spotlight ![]() Tatiana Freitas became involved with animal rights during the signature gathering phase of Prop 2. She spends her days volunteering at the Orange County Humane Society in Huntington Beach. She is the first to suggest an OC group carpool to any demo in Los Angeles. She organized several carpools so that OCPA could participate and have a presence at demos organized by IDA and LCA in Los Angeles (such as the boycott of the illegal Chinese fur trade on opening day of the Olympics in Chinatown), as well as Japan Dophin Day at the Japanese consulate in downtown Los Angeles, Prop 2 leafletting at the Sarah Palin rally in Carson, and most recently to demos at UCLA and CalTech for Primate Liberation Week. |
