Orange County People for Animals (OCPA) is a Southern California-based, non-profit 503(c) animal advocacy organization founded in 1988 to create a compassionate, healthy and peaceful planet for all living beings.

Volunteer Spotlight  Dave Simon is relatively new to the Orange County area and a recent animal advocate. He didn't waste any time in setting up OC Vegan Drinks through Meetup and then subsequently offered to help sponsor, design and set up OCPA's Meetup page. Dave spends his days as a corporate attorney, which parlays nicely as one of OCPA's legal advisors during demonstrations against foie gras and fur. He has been successful in his negotiations with mall security and restaurant personnel by ensuring OCPA's activists enjoy legal and peaceful demonstrations. Dave enjoys socializing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his two cats, Sweet Pea and Boojum. |
