Join Our Friends From Surge for the 2019 Official Animal Rights March – August 10

TOARM is an annual vegan march founded by the animal rights organization Surge in 2016.

The march began in London in 2016 with 2,500 attendees and by 2018. TOARM succeeded in a global attendance of 28,000 vegans marching in 25 cities across the world, demanding an end to all animal oppression. In 2019 we’re bringing The Official Animal Rights March back to Los Angeles to spread the message of animal liberation across the globe.

In order to make this march succeed, we need your help. Invite your friends, tell every vegan you meet, this is the day where we unite, where we stand up, rise up and say no more, not in our name.

The future is vegan, but we must continue to speak out on behalf of the animals until the day that their suffering ends.

All details, including the route will be published closer to the event date.
Save the date, spread the word – and let’s make history for the animals. We will meet at the Grand Park in downtown LA in front of City Hall, where we will have a live concert and vegan comfort food trucks for a couple of hours after the march. For the actual march, we also have live music and closed off streets since we are expecting a couple thousand people.

We’re taking to the streets and demanding change! Use your voice to make a difference. Your presence will be a light of inspiration. Be part of history as it happens. Help us make that history!

We will be promoting this at the upcoming LA VegFest where vegans and plant-based curious go, even if they’re not activists. A march such as this is very non-controversial so we hope it will appeal to them. Tell even your non-vegan friends about this event. It will be entertaining in a way. Closed off streets in downtown LA, smoke flares, live music, vegan comfort food at the park, some more music on stage. This is not your typical Animal Rights event. No sadness or controversy. This will appeal even to non-vegans. The intent is to show that our movement can be positive and fun, too. Help them make the connection. Show that we want happiness for ALL.
